EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

At The Gray Area, we recognise that life’s challenges aren’t always straightforward. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a compassionate and supportive space to empower individuals in navigating the complexities of life. Through open dialogue and increased awareness, we strive to remove the barriers to seeking help.

WHAT IS AN EAP?

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, voluntary, and confidential counselling service offered by your employer.

ABOUT OUR EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

The Gray Area is an Allied Health service dedicated to offering counselling support to the community. As a trusted Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider, we are here to support employees facing personal, family, or work-related challenges. Our experienced staff are ready to help when difficulties impact your well-being or quality of life. We provide a safe, confidential space where you can discuss your concerns and collaborate with one of our professionals to develop practical strategies, ensuring you receive the support you need during challenging times.

COMMITTED TO YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY

Our service operates independently of your employer and is dedicated to upholding your confidentiality. Using your EAP won’t impact your role at work, and no one—including your employer—will know you have accessed counselling. Your EAP offers:

  • Free and confidential support

  • Professional counselling with flexible options including in person, Telehealth, and video chat appointments available to suit your needs.

WHEN SHOULD I CONTACT MY EAP?

Your feelings can be a useful indicator of when you might need assistance.

Have you ever experienced distractions from work, fatigue or ongoing illness, emotional dysregulation, getting caught in the conflict cycle or feeling overwhelmed on a regular basis?

If so, reaching out to your EAP for support can help you regain balance.
