Provisional Psychologist
Hayley is a Provisional Psychologist who is currently pursuing a Masters of Professional Psychology at the University of New England. She completed her Psychological Science with Honours through Newcastle University and is a registered health practitioner under AHPRA. Hayley holds an associate membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Additionally she is a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS.
Her professional experience spans across all age groups, encompassing individuals living with anxiety, depression, mental health issues, behavioural complexities and family-related challenges. Her therapeutic interests encompass modalities such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Attachment Theory and Behavioural Therapy.
Her style centers on a strength focused approach to empower clients with an understanding of themselves. She firmly believes that with this knowledge, individuals possess the ultimate capacity to instigate positive change, adapt, and optimize their well-being.
Hayley’s previous work includes a focus on performance and human optimisation, working with Australian athletes. This work involved aspects of health mentoring, goal attainment and mindset development – areas she is deeply passionate about. She also has extensive experience in the mental health space, working as a mental health support worker and a behaviour specialist.
Outside of her professional life, Hayley loves going to the gym and playing tennis. She is an avid musician and enjoys quality time with her family and pets.
