SAY HELLO TO
MADY
Behaviour Support Practitioner
Hi there! I’m Mady, a Behaviour Support Practitioner at The Gray Area who’s passionate about fostering inclusion and empowering individuals to thrive. My career journey has been shaped by a variety of therapeutic and inclusive support roles that reflect my love for working with people, including teaching dance, supervising OOSH programs, and providing therapeutic support to people with disabilities and children in Out of Home Care. These experiences have taught me the importance of advocacy, meaningful connections, and creating spaces where everyone feels understood, supported, and empowered.
Currently pursuing advanced studies in psychology, I’m dedicated to continuously growing in my ability to support individuals and their 'village' of loved ones, carers, and professionals. I take a collaborative, person-centred approach to my work, focusing on celebrating strengths, breaking down barriers, and helping people achieve their goals in ways that are meaningful to them.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me at the beach, crafting, playing sports, or spending quality time with my cherished family and friends. These connections remind me every day of the importance of connection and well-being, both of which I strive to bring into every aspect of my practice.
I’m here to support and empower individuals to navigate their journey, overcome challenges, and embrace their potential. Let’s make a positive impact together!
